In the mid-1980s, he moved to Missouri, studied investments and finance, became admitted to the Missouri Bar, and began providing consulting services. His bigger clients included MasterCard International, AT&T Universal Card, and NCR Corporation. His work at AT&T Universal Card helped earn that company the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 1992.
After the turn of the century, Mr. Hansen scaled back services for major corporate clients and focused more on small to intermediate sized businesses. In 2015, a longtime friend and family member of his died, making him the executor of her estate. She was well read and quite accomplished, and had achieved the basics in estate planning. Unfortunately the basics are just not adequate in this day and age. Conventional probate results in unnecessary delays and waste. Consequently, Mr. Hansen’s practice has taken on evangelism in estate planning.
Mr. Hansen’s life experiences have bridged the areas of business planning, finance and investing, and estate planning. He has personal experience in not only the practice of law, but the actual real life application of activities in these areas.
